Nova Bus meets public transit and electromobility stakeholders in Edmonton, Alberta

From November 12 to 15, Nova Bus participated in the Canadian Urban Transit Association (CUTA) 2023 Annual Conference & Transit Show, which took place in Edmonton, Alberta. Nova Bus was proud to be CUTA’s corporate partner again this year and to be showcasing a beautiful Guelph Transit all electric bus, the Nova Bus LFSe+.

This is a signature event for CUTA: the entire Nova Bus team was proud to participate actively in the extensive program and to have the opportunity to exchange with public transit partners and industry stakeholders from across the country. From Committee meetings to insightful conferences, networking receptions and of course the well-attended Trade Show, the CUTA Annual Conference & Trade Show is more relevant than ever for public transit professionals and the industry.

We were pleased that Benoit Saint-Cyr, Product Manager LFS & LFSe+ at Nova Bus, had the opportunity to participate in a panel discussion to share best practices for the sustainable management of large electric bus fleets. We were also proud to support the Young Leaders Summit, which was held from November 10 to 12, and to be supporting other panels and events, such as the COMTO Toronto Chapter Networking Reception.

From November 14 to 17, Nova Bus also participated in the Electric Mobility Canada (EMC) 2023 Electric Vehicle Conference (EVVE), which brings together thought leaders and innovators from across the Canadian electric vehicle ecosystem. The Guelph Transit LFSe+ was also showcased at EVVE’s Trade Show, a special opportunity for EV partners stakeholders to take a closer look at the Nova Bus all electric bus.

We were delighted to exchange with peers on the acceleration of the transition to electromobility in Canada, including on a panel on zero-emission transit to which both Alexandrine Gauvin, Advisor, Public Affairs & External Communications and Chris Hill, Supervisor, Fleet Planning at Guelph Transit, had the opportunity to present.

Both CUTA’s 2023 Annual Conference & Transit Show and EMC’s 2023 EVVE Conference were essential opportunities for Nova Bus to engage with partners from across the industry in Canada on important topics for us such as innovation and electromobility. We remain focused on these key priorities at Nova Bus, as we strive to exceed market expectations on several fronts, including intelligent transport systems (ITS) development, safety & security, as well as every technological aspect related to electrification, batteries and charging standards. Nova Bus continues its mission to accelerate the electromobility strategy in the Canadian market, as public transit authorities are building on the momentum provided by governments with regards to regulations and incentives that support this transition to zero-emission transportation.

We wish to warmly thank the CUTA and EMC teams for the extraordinary efforts deployed to put together such successful and important events, and to thank the City of Edmonton partners that supported the hosting and organization of these conferences and trade shows.
